Designed for individuals who appreciate culture and history, art and the written word, this bag blends historical charm with modern utility. It's spacious enough to carry your book, reminding you of the pleasures of the written word, while also having enough space for your modern day essentials. It’s a showcase to those determined not to forget about the past while truly being present in the now.
A: I have always loved Gothic architecture, especially the Neo-Gothic aesthetics of the late Victorian period. If I see something related to these styles, I am always immediately tempted to buy it. Meanwhile in a practical sense, I want to keep my book and my essentials with me inside the bag so I need to have enough space. I wanted something practical and light-weight.
A: People like me who like a fusion between the historical and modern. Those who have a love for styles of the past but also want to integrate them into the modern world.
A: I’d say it’s definitely an everyday bag. You don’t need a special occasion to wear it, it’s for any occasion.
A: I found you from another Youtuber years ago. She was showing a satchel which I was obsessed with. Then I bought a satchel from you. That’s when the journey started.
A: Everything here is delightful. And the quality of the product is very impressive. From the original crafted materials to the details. I don’t have to use it delicately or be overly cautious. I can use it in any way and it still looks beautiful. Magic! It’s so important having a quality product that you can wear every day and that you know will outlast you.
A: Time. Each step takes much longer than you think and behind the scenes is far more complicated than it looks for people watching. There’s a lot of time and effort that goes into even the most simple shot.
A: Getting people excited about it and being able to express myself freely. I love reflecting my personal style. I stand for quality and ethical products and really try and pioneer against harmful or unethical fashion. I love making my specific wardrobe for myself. It opens me up to an incredible freedom to be whoever I want to be and express myself creatively.
A: You can wear fashion in your own way. Altering a shirt from a thrift shop to fit your own personality, it’s not so much about what you wear but how you wear it and how you incorporate it in your own life. I don’t believe in buying a bunch of clothes and throwing them away next year.
A: Yes but regarding the time and labour cost, it is difficult to sell clothes at a price people can afford while also providing the makers a fair wage. I like fashion that is available for everyone, but balancing affordability with human and environmental ethics is an essential place to start…and I haven’t quite worked that out yet.
A: Yes! I received so many responses from them. We are selling sewing patterns online. People can download the patterns and follow the steps, it’s such a nice way to be involved in the process of creating clothes.
