Inspiring People 2024

Every year we try to think of ways to give a little back. Most of our work is focused around the wellbeing of our employees in Bolivia but we also like to show some appreciation to special people here in the UK.

In 2021 our first campaign invited Teachers to our shop on two Sundays to choose a free bag. This was a small gesture from us to say thank you for all their effort and dedication during the pandemic. There was a cue around the block in Kings Cross and we gave away over 300 bags over the two days to overjoyed teachers. In 2022 we chose to go a little more personal so asked the general public to nominate a person who had inspired them in life. We received hundreds of super touching stories about amazing people who had selflessly gone above and beyond for others. We sent these wonderful people a golden ticket to our giveaway event where they could choose a bag of their choice. We ended up giving away 200 bags on this day. Both events were extremely touching and we were blown away by how our simple gesture was appreciated. It made all our efforts feel worthwhile, seeing all those happy faces walking away with a Beara Beara by their side.

MOMS

This year our event is back and bigger than before. We spent days debating who deserves a little thank you, a hug of appreciation, a reminder that what they do isn’t taken for granted, a token of our gratitude. Our conclusion was simple and rather obvious; Moms. Bringing up a child is one of the most special yet difficult things a human being can do and most experience difficult times of stress, tiredness, loneliness and often isolation.

By giving someone a free bag we dont expect to make a major impact. However, by highlighting the dedication involved in rearing a child will hopefully illustrate that what Mothers do doesn’t go unnoticed. It's our way of saying thank you, for doing the most important job which is educating, guiding and nurturing our next generation.

EVENT

Over the 4 Sundays of October we would like to invite all Moms across London and further afield to visit our shop to choose a leather handbag, satchel or backpack bag of their choice. There is no catch, no deposits or charges, everything is free. By going to the following link you will have options for tickets for either mornings or afternoons. There are 250 tickets available each day, however we would advise you to secure your ticket as soon as possible. If you could please not reserve a ticket then not attend, as this will prevent someone else from attending. There is no catch, simply book a timeslot, show up on the day and choose a bag of your choice from the stock on display. Please note, depending on stock levels not all styles on our website will be available. Also note that if you come to the shop on any day outside of your ticket date you will not be able to receive the free bag.

On the day you should most likely expect to join a cue, teas and coffees will be provided. Morning tickets will give you access between 10am and 1pm, and afternoon slots will be from 2pm to 5pm. You will need to show us your 'proof of motherhood'; a lovely selfie of you and your young one/s (if they arent with you). You will then have 10 minutes in the store to choose a bag of your choice, (this is short, only so we can make sure no one walks away empty handed).

Please only choose 1 ticket slot. Anyone who book tickets for multiple days we will have to cancel their invitations. Thanks.
