Same but different
Mothers and daughters are like two sides of the same coin. On the one hand, they share many similarities; their looks, their habits, their mannerisms and even the way they think. It’s almost as if they’re connected by an invisible thread that links their lives in subtle ways. Yet, despite these similarities, they can also be quite different. They each have our own unique dreams, interests, and ways of seeing the world.
Likewise they have their own style. Our idea with the Santa Anna Mini Backpack was to embrace the differences along with the similarities in style and approach to life. This cute backpack fits just as well into the mothers world of calm and class while also enjoying the discovery and individuality of the daughters.
While a shared bond often leads to admiration and influence, developing distinct styles allows each to assert their autonomy and confidence in who they are. We felt like we wanted to bridge this and create a product that they could both enjoy without compromising their own look. Ultimately, embracing different styles nurtures a sense of empowerment and individuality in both but by creating a bag that complements both we felt it aligned really nicely with our love of connection and respect.
With Beara Beara, memory lasts forever.
The story between Claire’s family and Beara Beara dates back over 10 years ago, when Zoe was barely big enough to hold our backpack. Our relationships with people is what we value the most and the progress is beautiful to see with Zoe modelling alongside her Mom in our latest shoot. The progression of seeing Zoe grow into a beautiful and intelligent woman, and being able to build on the connection that we have with Claire and her family is beautiful to see.
