Our lives are often so full of chaos and busyness, music offers a way to pause, reflect, and appreciate the moment. The piano for us is the epitome of calm and tranquility. As a team we share many interests and appreciations in life; with music among the most important.

Sunny Chiang, whom we have been working with for some time, is a world-renowned pianist, and whom we were drawn to because of her passion, personality, and sense of intrigue. Alongside her remarkable talent as a pianist, she is also a music educator and content creator, who brings classical music to life for younger and diverse audiences.

When we first sat down to begin the design process together, our brainstorming session was fun, full of ambitious ideas and original concepts. We decided that we needed a statement piece designed for a confident, ambitious woman with a busy lifestyle. Designed to carry everything you need as you take on the day, this large bag is shaped by our love of curves, boldness, and originality.

The Sunny developed over several months and several not so perfect samples. “Nothing good in life comes easy” was a phrase we returned to often, and through persistence and care, we are incredibly proud of the final result.

When Chiang visited London, our connection deepened in person as we shared opinions and laughter, spoke openly about life and the future, and reflected on common misconceptions and shared goals. Chiang’s passion for performance, rhythm, and personal style helped shape the Sunny not just as an accessory, but as a piece with personality, one that resonates with both music lovers and design enthusiasts alike. Together with Chiang we have co-designed the Sunny; a handbag that reflects a harmony of tradition, individuality, and joyful creativity, much like the music she plays. A purposeful collaboration shaped by genuine connection and one we will always remember.
